Privilege
I don’t know what I’m doing—
but I get to ask that question.
That’s something.
I have a house,
a body that still works,
a heart that still wants more.
I feel lost,
but I’m lucky to feel lost.
Some people don’t get the chance
to wonder what’s next.
So I’ll move.
I’ll lift.
I’ll sweat until my thoughts get quiet.
I’ll follow my gut,
even if it only whispers.
And maybe that’s enough for now—
to want more,
and be grateful I can.
