its okay

I’m dedicating this to this moment.

It’s okay to make a mistake—and learn from it.
Maybe you’ll repeat it a few times before it really lands. That’s okay too.

No one is permanent in life.
But we still put that pressure on our partners.
Even when we just start dating someone, we expect them to tick all the boxes, to always be there.

But even our families aren’t always there.
We just assume they’ll show up when we need them.

Maybe that’s what life is—
this uncertainty, this soft chaos.
No one is here forever. That’s just how it is.

All we can really do is be good and kind while we’re here.
Try to have a good life along the way.

And if something doesn’t work out—
so be it.

There’s no pressure for anything to work.
In fact, the more pressure you put on something,
the more likely it is to stop working—
any relationship, really.

With friends and family, it feels easier somehow.
But with romantic relationships… it gets hard.
I don’t know why.
But it does.
And that’s okay.
