thank you
I am grateful for this space, this house I get to call home.
Grateful for all who have come and gone, each leaving behind a little piece of themselves in my story.
I am grateful that my dad still takes care of me, even now.
And I am grateful that I can also take care of myself.
There’s comfort in knowing both truths can exist together.
I want to do what I can, in small and simple ways.
Even just taking care of my bed, getting rest, honoring the little rituals of life—
it matters.
I am grateful for my family,
even while I’m still becoming the person I dream of being.
I am grateful for all that the universe has offered me,
and I thank God for it—
for what has come,
for what has stayed,
for what is still to arrive.
I will carry gratitude with me every day.
For all of it.
